(A Reception Desk – Design Development from Concept to Production)
The Reception desk featured was manufactured for the Gateway project at the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh.
We have included images that show how CAD Technicians within Bentleys’ Setting-out department work with Designers to develop manufacturing detail drawings from design concept drawings.
This particular Reception Desk features a mixture of both solid oak and oak veneers with a clear matt lacquer finish, Durasein Solid Surface tops, and laminate-finish plinths. The final images show the workshop assembly after spray finish, a check-fit of tops, and disassembly prior to delivery and final installation with finished jointing.
